Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. Add the conservancies and the area is at least twice the size. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and over 570 recorded species of birds.

Additionaly to your safari you can add a hot air balloon experience, will you go for it?
Imagine yourself climbing into your hot air balloon basket for take-off just before sunrise, at about 6:30AM. As you rise the Maasai Mara plains opens up before your eyes to feast on the golden sunrise, enchanting sceneries, plains-game below as the winds gently blows the basket deeper into the reserve.
The landscape is stunning and free, and the abundant wildlife can make for spectacular viewings from above. Typically you can see a good diversity of animals, and it is likely you will spot elephants, giraffes, various antelope species, and ostriches from the balloon.
Ballooning is one of the best ways to search for the elusive black rhino, of which there are less than 40 in the Mara. Depending on the day’s flight path, you may also drift along one of the rivers and see hippos and crocodiles.
Are you ready?
Most of all, we include networking possibilites in the best possible location with our diverse group of the SCN community. Not to be missed!
